Lots of Commemorations
Yesterday was the last day of Khmer New Year. The Year of the Rat. I’m a rat… 5th cycle… I wish you a very happy New Year 2552. People were celebrating at the pagodas (VIJ2008028):
Today at Chhoeung Ek was the 33rd commemoration of the Khmer Rouge conquering Phnom Penh. Some 800 people attended a ceremony at the killing fields (VIJ2008029)…
