Moving again

The people who were renting a house in the evicted community of Dey Krahom (story here, multimedia piece called Terre Rouge here) in January 2009, were not entitled compensation in Damnak Trayoung, some 20km South of Phnom Penh. They were just dumped there and have been living in worse conditions than before. Now, finally, one year later, the authorities come up with the possibility for them to be resettled (again). Except that it is in Oudong, North West of Phnom Penh, about 50Km from where they are now… Just a few families left for Oudong on saturday, but I was warned too late and missed the dismantling and packing…
