21 years ago on Feb. 3rd I was celebrating my 39th anniversary shooting pictures…
Mali. Tondiby. 3/02/1987: Women grinding millet seed for the meal of the people from the cooperative working on the irrigation dams.
Mali. Tondiby. 3/02/1987: Cutting the straw of a previous rice harvest on irrigated plot of land run by a cooperative.
It was part of a story on water management in the Sahel.
And I don’t even know if I’m any further today… Probably not… But I know I’m incredibly privileged to be able to continue doing what I am doing…
