The Boeung Kak Ladies went for a tour of the neighbourhood, trying to rally support for their request to obtain 15Ha for an on site relocation out of the 133Ha Shukaku Inc. is developing. Things were kept peacefull and they did not show up at the Municipality, having received a letter on their way, inviting them for a meeting next wednesday, 3:00 PM.
Meanwhile I was told about a heavy police presence on the other side of town for the Tak Fat garment workers protesting the bankruptcy of their factory. Can’t be everywhere at the same time…
