Still kickin’

Most of the Dey Krohom evicted are gathered with all their belongings at Damnak Trayoung, some 20Km from the center of Phnom Penh, in a new city built by 7NG company, waiting for a 4m x 6m house to be assigned to them. But the hard core of Dey Krohom hasn’t given up: this morning they went to the City Hall to ask the authorities for the 20000$ which were promised to them by the company before the crackdown. It seems that isn’t going to work out. So they went to the National assembly to file a request there. Didn’t work out: there were some papers missing…
