Boeung Kak Lake commemoration
One year ago, excavators and bulldozers, protected by police forces, destroyed several houses from the Boeung Kak Lake community.
Today the community commemorated the event with a religious ceremony and by burning puppets, representing corrupt officials, copiously stuffed with fake 100$ bills and spoonfulls of sand.
This is a follow-up post on the ‘Quest for Land‘ story which is available as an iApp on iTunes.
