Afghanistan 1971

My first real trip in a far away land… Two months on the road, thousands of kilometers driving a second hand Volkswagen beetle. Being stoned in Kabul, getting involved with a drug trafficker, overturning his Citroën DS while avoiding a donkey, and then totally wrecking it under a stranded truck in the middle of the night some 100 Km further, all in the same day, buying a wolf skin coat, getting a badly infected foot (among many other adventures). And shooting 5 Tri-X in total… These are about all the pictures I have from that trip. That was not really productive. But I learned a lot…
