SUDAN. Kosti. 23/10/1988: South Sudanese displaced. Most of the malnourished children are too weak to walk the 300 m to the feeding center and have to be carried there.
MEXICO. Maya Tecum. 27/06/1988: Guatemalan refugees rehearsing songs for sunday mass.
IRAQ. Sayeed Sadiq (Kurdistan). 22/02/1992: Kurdish displaced. Schoolboy revising lessons in one of the 4500 villages destroyed by Saddam Hussein regime.

THAILAND. Khao I Dang. 26/10/1989: Khmer displaced in a camp along the border. Siesta in the hospital for mentally ill. A combination of traditional medicine (chamanism) and occidental therapies are being used to cure the people traumatised by the Khmer Rouge years.

GEORGIA. Pankisi Valley (Pankisi Valley). 24/02/2000: Chechen refugees on the main road in the valley.
