Cambodian NGO’s aiming for Guinness record?

Aiming for the longest ‘khrama’? For the longest petition? Or more seriously trying to influence the lawmakers to revise the 4th draft of a Law on Associations and NGO’s?

About 200 representatives of 13 NGO’s brought a petition with 10697 signatures from people based in 24 provinces on a 230 meter long ‘khrama’ to the National Assembly to protest the 4th draft law on NGO’s and Associations being studied by the lawmakers and which, according to the NGO’s, puts a heavy burden on all civil society organisations and shrinks the democratic space in Cambodia.
