The Pchum Ben exodus continues. The authorities repeatedly warned that overloaded pick-up trucks would not be allowed. But Cambodia is a democracy: the majority rules (and doesn’t have the money to pay for safe and expensive transport).
Exodus, movement of the people… Phnom Penh is emptying for Pchum Ben. Many people will die in traffic accidents. They will be remembered at the next Pchum Ben, when many people again will die on the road… Etc… The endless cycle of life and death…
