Match 41

Pic one is from the month-long assignment I did for a production company wanting to shoot a feature film in Vietnam at a time when there were rather few images from the country.

VIETNAM. Ho Chi Minh City. 04/04/1990. Floating market.

VIETNAM. Ho Chi Minh City. 04/04/1990. Floating market.

CAMBODIA. Rumchek3 (Oddar Meanchey). 11/01/2006 : Settlers leaving the land they cleared for several months after an official from the Forestry Department told them they would be evicted for the second time. NGO Smiling Disabled People had attracted over 200 families on 1200ha of land which seemingly was given in concession to a Malaysian company instead. The settlers, having been evicted a first time and their huts having been burned down, came back shortly afterwards. This time some will leave for good, put their belongings in a safe place in a village nearby, or move to Phnom Penh to protest.
