W.E. Roadblock
Some 150 farmers from four adjacent villages blocked the road to Takeo to protest the sale of their land, allegedly by their Commune Chief. It was sunday and hundreds of motorists were blocked on their way back to the capital after having commemorated their deceased family members during the Chheing Menh ceremony. We lost a few hours. The farmers lost their land and some of them their freedom.
