Gun=police?

Updated my webste with a new story: Cambodia Boeung Kak Eviction

Just yesterday I took some pictures there. Hadn’t been around for a while. It’s almost all gone. The part near the railway track that is.

It was a short shoot though. A guy came up to me after 5 minutes and gestured, saying with an angry face: “No, no, no pictures.” So I ask “Why?”. He says: “I am police”. “Well, you don’t look like it” I said. Then he showed me his gun. “Yeah, that doesn’t prove you’re from the police” I laughed. “Show me your badge”. He did. So I left. And took some pictures from the other side of the lake.

CAMBODIA. Phnom Penh. 9/09/2009: The last of the Boeung Kak residents living near the railway station, under eviction threat by a development company, have accepted an offer by the company and are moving away.
