May Day

That took a long time: the first demonstration in Phnom Penh since several months (or is it years? I lost count)… Some 1500 people showed up for a good humored march in the streets to celebrate Labour Day.

    The banners say, stop messing with us or else… ;-)

    No in fact they ask for decent wages, normal contracts etc… All the things workers in the West were asking (and more or less obtained) 80 years ago…

    ..maybe you can encourage them to write that next time :) ))…especially cool and powerful coming from all those lovely young faces :) ))….pulling for them, 80 years late…let’s hope they dont have to wait 80 more years…
