Human Rights Day
So finally a demonstration was authorized in Phnom Penh. Human Rights Day is worth it to the Authorities it seems… Some 2000 people showed up.
The last time I saw so many people demonstrating was for the commemoration of Chea Vichea’s death. And that was on January 22nd 2008. Nearly one whole year without a demonstration… There is still a long way to go… (Story VIJ2008098)
