			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Some 150 houses were destroyed in a blaze which ripped through a settlement located between the railway tracks and Wat Neak Kavean, not far from Boeung Kak lake. With the rehabilitation of the railway system finally under way, I would be surprised the people from this settlement will be allowed to rebuild their house on the same location.<br />
Over the last ten years hundreds of families have been uprooted by fires: the <a href="http://johnvink.com/photo.php?z=VIJ2001013W00004-04,22,6">2001 Bassac fire</a>, the <a href="http://johnvink.com/photo.php?z=VIJ2002007W00002-07,22,6">2002 Bloc Tanpa</a> fire, the <a href="http://johnvink.com/story.php?title=Cambodia_Clear_Water_Fire">2008 Toeuk Thla fire</a>.</p>
