King N. Sihanouk Funeral, Last Days 11
So… May his ashes rest in peace after a turbulent life. With a final procession the remains of King Norodom Sihanouk (see here and here) were carried from the ‘Veal Meru’, or cremation ground, to the Royal Palace, accompanied by his son King Norodom Sihamoni and his wife Queen Mother Monineath.
We will now see if the cambodian public, after having been denied access most of the last 4 days, will be allowed to reclaim the space in front of the Royal Palace to pay respect to the King.
I will finalise the edit of the photographs and the texts for the ebook. I will upload it to Apple by sunday and the work should be available to enjoy on your iPad soon after.
