King N. Sihanouk Funeral, day 17…

Today is a holiday. Cambodia celebrates the birthday of King Norodom Sihanouk. He would have reached the age of 90 had he not died 17 days ago. People still come to the Royal Palace to pay respect (and to make some money by selling fire to worshippers wanting to light their incense sticks).

The cremation ceremony will take place during the first week of February.

All the photographs from the past days are to be found at this link.
