Vocal as ever…

The Boeung Kak Lake community is as vocal as ever. Evictions, destructions, threats, intimidations, lawsuits, prison: they went through it all and they go on protesting. They know they still have rights and they use them. About 50 of them marched this morning to the City Hall building to discuss the 12,44 ha for an on site development promised by Prime Minister Hun Sen over a year ago and still not even outlined, and then to the Council of Ministers.

The photographs are a follow-up on the Boeung Kak Lake eviction, one of the 20 chapters included in the ‘Quest for Land‘ application for the iPad available on iTunes here.
