‘Quest for Land’ on ‘Verve Photo’

Geoffrey Hiller has published a long interview about ‘Quest for Land’ for the iPad on his ‘Verve Photo‘ weblog. For several years now he has been scanning the documentary photography production and tirelessly publishes photography he sees fit and which according to him corresponds to verve: endurance, fire, force, gumption, gusto, intensity, moxie, passion, spunk, stamina, strength, toughness, vigor. I am happy to be included in what Geoffrey describes as ‘the new breed in documentary photography’.

As a thank you note here is the very first photograph of Cambodian evictees (Cambodian refugees not included) I ever took:

CAMBODIA. Phnom Penh. 06/01/2000: People from Kompong Leng village (Kompong Chnang province) protesting in front of National Assembly because they were evicted from their land.
