Dialogues with the Dead – 74

This is the end… No more ‘Dialogues with the Dead’ pictures… in B&W. From here on they will be in colour… I want to reach the 100 mark.

CAMBODIA. Srong Nam (Oddar Meanchey). 24/12/2003: Cremation site of former Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot (Saloth Sar) near the Thai border. Private property of land was abolished during the Khmer Rouge period, and all land titles were destroyed.

Series started last All Saints Day. In Western culture All Saints Day is traditionally a time to remember the deceased. As it turns out I seem to have quite a few pictures relating to funerals and rituals related to the deceased. In the following posts I will take you to different parts of the world on a not necessarily morbid journey…
