All Back to Level

The waters of the Mekong and the Tonle Sap are back to their seasonal levels. Despite the recent floods it seems harvest will reach 8.4 million tonnes, compared to 8.25 tonnes last year. Which doesn’t mean many Cambodians were hit hard.

Unfortunately I could not secure the funding to cover the aftermath of the flood and its long lasting impact on the affected population. I guess that story is not sexy enough. Anyone out there who thinks it is?

From the ‘Cambodia 2011 Floods’ story…
