CAMBODIA. Damnak Trayoung (Phnom Penh). 22/10/2009: Evicted from Dey Krohom nearly one year ago, some 135 families who were renting a house and therefore are not entitled any compensation, were dumped 20 km outside of Phnom Penh. Sanitary conditions are deplorable. Without running water, sewage system, electricity, or job opportunities, the evicted are worse off than before.
