Tini Tinou (here and there)

The yearly Tini Tinou circus parade hit the streets of Phnom Penh again. Organised by Phare Ponleu Selpak, an NGO promoting Children’s Rights and created in the Site 2 refugee camp in 1986, it draws attention to a circus festival they are having at their headquarters in Battambang. They need money and they are really worth supporting: many very good artists, not only circus artists but also painters and musicians are trained there.

There is a multimedia slideshow of the parade at Ka-set.

  1. Great work, John. I really enjoyed that. It looks like you were having fun too. Is she standing on a bag of rice?
