Christmas: days of peace?
No respite for the inhabitants of Boeung Kak. The Appeals Court rejected the injunction by the inhabitant’s lawyer to stop the filling of the lake they are living on by a development company.
They gathered at a small pagoda nearby the Court for a short prayer, released some birds with good luck wishes. After the verdict they vented their anger on the street, one woman collapsed from the stress.
