Upstream the Mekong is reaching alert levels (VIJ2008060)…

how much, how slick, how, like teeth pressed again the small cup of skin, rain marks and swells us….
i cannot tell you how much (even here amid the rainy summer of Canada) i miss the real swell of rain…my tropical rain….
above all (as marcin mentioned) #1…heart-wobbly….
u know the films of Anh Hung Tran??….especially (rain) Cyclo and Vertical Rays of the sun….even Wong-kar Wei, when he knew rain was more important than beautiful american landscapes….

Your first photo is superb. I really love its simplicity. The light and the rain drops make it really dramatic. You document Cambodia’s daily life through photography so well. Well done.
